Rice wafers are a healthy snack with few calories
plus they are vegan and you can garnish them with different ingredients.
Ingredients:
• 300 g cooked rice
• 5 tbsp rice flour
• 2 tsp. rice starch
• 50 ml water
• 1 pinch of salt
• some cooking oil and baking paper
Prepare your rice, e.g. round rice, according to package instructions and let it cool. Now mix all the ingredients together, except for the oil. The mixture should be neither too dry nor too sticky.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Brush the baking paper with a little oil and spread the mixed rice mass on it. Then put a second piece of baking paper on top so that you can roll out the dough to a layer of about 0.5 cm.
Now take the baking paper down again and cut out the rice cakes.
This can be done with a cup or a glass.
Put the still raw rice wafers on a new piece of baking paper and bake them in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
If the rice cakes are crispy, but not yet brown, then they are.
